    Yes. Unit Chairs, who commonly are the writers of the study guides, act as academic advisors for students throughout each unit. Our Unit Chairs have both strong industry and academic experience, and are leaders in their respective fields.

    Through Chifley Business School’s e-Community system. This online forum enables students to discuss course materials with other students in their respective units, and the Unit Chair.

    Yes. Chifley Postgraduate Programs enables students to choose a technology management focus. Chifley Postgraduate Programs (Technology Management) is especially popular for students from Engineering or I.T. backgrounds (for example), who wish to focus their management studies on their chosen fields.

    The technology management focus is also available at Graduate Diploma and Graduate Certificate level.

    Standard study period is 18-weeks plus exams, though existing students can utilise a 10-week study period option over summer in some circumstances.

    75% of students take one unit per study period. This relates to 4 years of part-time study. A full-time commitment (4 units) would allow students to complete the MBA in 18 months.

    Students have the flexibility to take as many as 4 units per study period to design their own level of commitment. Maximum time frame to complete the program is 10 years.

  14. back to topWhat are the entry requirements?
    A completed undergraduate degree. If that degree was not completed in English as the primary language, the following scores are applicable for entry:
    • TOEFL score of 577
    • Computer-based TOEFL score of 233, or
    • IELTS score of 6.5

    Two; one in December/January (study period 1), and one in May/June (study period 2).

  16. back to topMy undergraduate degree isn’t business related – does it matter?
    No. People move into management roles from many paths. A desire to succeed in your management role, and previous undergraduate qualification in any field, is sufficient for entry into this program.

  17. back to topCan I enrol without an undergraduate degree?
    Yes. You will need to apply through Special Entry, of which there is an intake for study period 1 and 2. Special Entry requires students to demonstrate, through management experience, suitability of the program and employer support, that they will be able to succeed in Chifley Postgraduate Programs.

    Chifley MBA: 12 units
    Graduate Diploma of Management: 8 units
    Graduate Certificate of Management: 4 units

    Apart from the transition between the Graduate Certificate into the Graduate Diploma and ultimately into the MBA program, we offer further pathways that articulate into Chifley Postgraduate Programs.
