Institute of Public Administration Australia (IPAA)

Chifley has formed a partnership with the Institute of Public Administration Australia (IPAA) to provide graduates of Gain the Policy Edge program, one unit of credit (Unit 302: Employer-based Unit) into Chifley Postgraduate Programs.

IPAA's Gain the Policy Edge program

The course is presented jointly by the Victorian branch of the IPAA and The Nous Group. The course runs as a five-day intensive workshop and participants can either take it as a stand-alone workshop, or participate in assessment activities to gain advanced standing into postgraduate qualifications.

The program is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to contribute to policy develop and policy leadership.

Requirements

IPAA graduates of the IPAA Gain the Policy Edge program can apply for advanced standing to be awarded credit for Unit 302: Employer-based Unit. They must meet entry requirements of the Chifley postgraduate program and successfully fulflll the requirements of the IPAA Gain the Policy Edge program.

Delivery Format

Chifley Postgraduate Programs units are delivered exclusively through proven distance education techniques. Each student receives a comprehensive Study Guide, which contains workplace activities and case studies, so you can apply your knowledge as you learn.
Your Study Guide for each unit contains full lecture notes, readings, references to further resources, your assignment and a sample examination with answers. Your Unit Chair is responsible for setting and marking the assignments and exams, providing commentary on the topics throughout the study period and academic assistance for any questions you have during your study through our e-communities electronic forum.

Graduate Certificate
Maximum 3 years from the first unit enrolment.

Graduate Diploma
Maximum 6 years from the first unit enrolment.

MBA
Maximum 10 years from the first unit enrolment.
